I have always danced free style dances (salsa included) but I had to learn how to dance with another person. My uncle in Cuba taught me "Son" for the purpose. He was a great dancer and still inspires me on the dance-floor today. The best lesson he gave me is to always consider "the magic trio": the Musicians, your partner and yourself.

To "Son" I started to appreciate "Timba" and "Salsa" Music which I teach today among others (Rumba, Danzon, Son, Cha Cha, Cuban Mambo, Rueda…).

In France, I met Rogelio & Rey Martinez who completed my learning in salsa. So 6 years ago, after having taught in Rey's school, I decided to teach on my own to personalize my dance. I learnt tap dance, and Tango, Capoeira. I discovered the famous Jimmy Slide and the Nicholas Brothers. Their style inspired me and I added slides on my salsa and my footwork. Tango helped me develop my posture.

DJ Melao from Miami qualified my style as having "Cachet" (full of character, stylish).

My favorites bands are Dan Den, Elio and Elito Reve, Adalberto y su son, Donaldo Flores and many other soneros I have not mentioned…
